Long Island-based By the Sea Custom Quilting has been providing long-arm quilting services to clients in the NYC metro area and as far away as Hawaii since 2003. Its owner, Teri Scaduto, has been an avid quilter for 22 years. Her unique designs in fabric and thread have garnered dozens of quilt-show ribbons for her own and her customers’ creations.

No two quilts, or quilters, are the same. We specialize in hand-guided  long-arm quilting, ranging from free-form edge-to-edge designs to highly detailed heirloom work. When selecting a pattern, we listen to our customers — and we “listen” to their quilts. It’s an artistic, intuitive and extremely personalized process.
